FULL ITINERARY:
Day 1: Agadir – Tiznit – Aglou Beach – Mirleft –
Legzira – Sidi Ifni.
In the morning departure from Agadir to visit the beautiful natural park
of Sous Massa Draa, trekking along the coast, continue towards Tiznit, visit to the
ancient medina with the particular colo, ochre walls and arrival at Mirleft, splendid seaside village, with its
authentic atmosphere not yet touched by mass tourism. Keep driving along the coast,
passing through the impressive caves of Laghzira in Sidi Ifni, ancient coastal town built on a
rocky platform, bordered by cliffs overlooking the sea. Overnight accommodation at the
hotel.
Day 2: Sidi Ifni – Guelmim
– Akka – Tata.
After the breakfast we will depart for Guelmim, the ancient
coastal town where the caravan arrived at the beach, here we will visit the ancient and
traditional souks of camels and mlhaf “ Saturday “ (typical of colorful woven women’s
clothing of the South of Morocco). Continue to Amtoudi ; Located in southern Morocco, and
surrounded by spectacular desert mountain landscape, the Berber village of Amtoudi
is home to around 300 families. The village is an oasis, with farming being the primary
activity of the inhabitants - the patches of irrigated land like green velvet against the stark
and rugged ochre landscape, it’s one of the most fascinating aspects of Amtoudi, which
sets it apart from other oasis settlements, is the ancient grain storage facility, or agadir,
perched high up on a hill overlooking the village. It is considered to be both the oldest and
most well preserved agadir in North AfricaIn the evening arrival at Tata, the “gate of
the desert”, with dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
Day 3: Tata – Valley Ait Mansour
– Tafraoute.
Leaving Tata, our way leads us through different Berber villages,
Canyons and oases of palm trees toward Tafraoute, on our way we will visit the Valley Ait
Mansour, these spectacular and verdant gorges are
located about 25 km away from Tafraoute. We will visit also some traditional Berber
Villages and enjoy their hospitality. I have to mention here, that the valley sometimes is
unpassable. Today you will have time to see The lion’s face on the mountains and you will
visit the village of Agard oudad, which is only 2 km away southwards from Tafraoute, underneath
the iconic Napoleon’s
Hat, Before sunset we will bring you to your
Hotel.
Day 4: Tafraoute – Ait Baha
– Taroudant.
After the breakfast we will go to visit the painted blue rocks, which is perhaps the
most famous place in Tafraoute. The big granite rocks were polished by erosion and were
colored in bright colors by the belgian artist Jean Verame in 1984. A spectacular place to take
photos, then start driving towards Ait Baha cross the
spectacular mountains and have a great view over the beautiful, unique and
picturesque landscapes. You will have an opportunity to watch goats climbing Argan and Acacia
trees. Continue our journey to Taroudant, overnight accommodation at
riad.
Day 5: Taroudant City
Sightseeing Tour – Agadir.
After the breakfast we will start exploring Taroudant;
known as “the little Marrakesh”.- for its red walls and narrow alleys – It is
spectacular for its massive ramparts and beautiful medina. Taroudant, a city of much
history , built by the Saadian dynasty, the same one that built Marrakech in the sixteenth
century. Our explorative journey starts by visiting the Kasbah and the Ramparts, and then a
walk through the alleys of the Medina. (Unlike the other Moroccan cities Taroudant has a Berber
Souk and an Arab one). After the visiting the Souks we will visit the tanneries, in the
afternoon we will drive to Agadir, drop you off at your hotel or the airport where the end of
our service.
